The University of Calgary Molecular and Developmental Biology Research Group and the Department of Medical Biochemistry invite applications for a full-time academic position in the field of molecular biology and genetics of development. Applications are particularly encouraged for work on established experimental systems such as Drosophila, C. elegans and mice. Qualifications include a PhD and/or MD, at least two years' postdoctoral experience, and a proven record of excellence in research. The selected candidate must compete successfully for salary support and establishment funding from the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research and/or the Medical Research Council of Canada, and will have 75% of time protected for research. In accordance with Canadian immigration requirements, priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada. The University of Calgary is committed to Employment Equity.
